Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Parties and Scope
These Terms of Service govern the relationship between clkr.work ("Provider"), the operator of the Bank Statement Parser service ("Service"), and any individual or entity ("User") accessing or using the Service. Accessing or using the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2. Scope of Service
Bank Statement Parser is a software API service designed to extract transaction data from bank statement PDF files. The Service supports text-based and scanned PDFs; however, the list of supported formats may change without prior notice. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without any guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE PROVIDER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS: (i) THAT THE SERVICE WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, ERROR, OR SECURITY BREACH; (ii) THAT EXTRACTED DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE; (iii) THAT THE SERVICE IS FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EXTRACTION RESULTS ARE FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR ACCOUNTING DECISIONS.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (i) THE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE; (ii) THE PROVIDER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; (iii) FOR FREE PLAN USERS, THE PROVIDER'S LIABILITY IS ZERO.
5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
The accuracy of extraction results (transaction dates, amounts, balances) produced by the Service is not guaranteed. Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all outputs before use. The Provider accepts no liability for financial loss, accounting errors, or any other damages resulting from inaccurate extraction.
6. User Content and Responsibility
The User: (i) is solely responsible for the content of uploaded PDFs, their lawful origin, and compliance with third-party rights; (ii) accepts all legal consequences arising from uploading documents belonging to others or obtained without authorization; (iii) is solely responsible for any illegal use of the Service.
7. Indemnification
User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) User's breach of these Terms; (ii) third-party claims related to User's uploaded content; or (iii) unlawful use of the Service.
8. Acceptable Use
The following are strictly prohibited: overloading systems (DoS/DDoS), probing or exploiting security vulnerabilities, bulk account creation via automation, reselling Service output (outside authorized API access), using another person's credentials, and any harmful or unlawful purpose.
9. Service Interruptions and Changes
The Provider reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or modify the Service at any time — temporarily or permanently — without prior notice, for any reason including maintenance, updates, or technical failure. The Provider is not liable for losses arising from such changes. SLA guarantees apply only to Enterprise plans under a separately executed agreement.
10. Pricing and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly and collected via Paddle (Paddle Payments Ltd.). The Provider reserves the right to change prices with prior notice. For refund terms, please see the Refund Policy page.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party providers for payments (Paddle), analytics (PostHog), and infrastructure. The Provider is not responsible for the services, privacy practices, or availability of these third parties.
12. Force Majeure
The Provider shall not be liable for Service disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemic, cyberattacks, regulatory changes, or infrastructure outages.
13. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Provider. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service under these Terms only. Users may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service.
14. Changes to Terms
The Provider may modify these Terms without prior notice. Registered users will be notified by email of material changes where practicable. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising between the parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey.
